I am a current undergraduate B.S. Geology major at the University of California, Davis. I have a 3.98 GPA and am set to graduate with honors in just a few weeks. I have experience tutoring math (arithmetic to integral calculus), geology, physics, and chemistry. I worked as a supplemental instruction leader (SI), basically a teaching assistant, for a college chemistry course. I would plan and hold activity-driven sessions multiple times per week to supplement the actual class work. I believe a foundational understanding of a topic is essential before moving forward. If you don't really know what is going on it is difficult to tackle unexpected questions. I designed my sessions to be as entertaining and simple as possible. We would play games, draw pictures, and talk to each other. Complex problems can seem daunting but honestly, most things can be broken down into simple steps (even scary math, chemistry, and physics problems). I am happy to help people from any skill level. I will do my absolute best to improve your understanding so you can get the grades/scores you need.
