I model each course and lesson on the student's needs. I like to have a first lesson where the student tells me their situation, why they want to learn Italian, what experiences they already have, and how they find to learn best (using which methods and approaches). Then, I design a plan that I believe will benefit my student, and I discuss it with them to see if they agree.
