Hello future students,
My name is Aurora, and I’m excited to help you excel in your law studies! Here’s a little about what you can expect from my lessons.
Lesson Format:
Each of my lessons is tailored to your individual needs. We’ll start by identifying the areas you need the most help with—whether it’s understanding difficult legal concepts, preparing for exams, or improving your essay-writing skills. I structure lessons in a way that makes the material digestible and engaging, incorporating practical examples and case studies to help you grasp complex legal principles. Lessons are interactive, encouraging questions and discussion to ensure you fully understand the material.
Lesson Dynamics:
I like to begin with a quick review of previous content, which not only strengthens retention but also builds a solid foundation for new material. We will break down the law in a step-by-step way—whether it’s learning legal definitions, discussing case law, or analyzing statutes. I also provide real-world examples to show how legal theories apply in practice, which is particularly helpful for understanding how the law functions in real cases.
If you're preparing for exams, we’ll focus on answering problem questions effectively, mastering legal essay structures, and practicing past papers. I’m here to make sure you’re confident and well-prepared!
Experience and Approach:
I’m a Law graduate from the University of Exeter with extensive experience in legal research and academic writing. During my degree, I worked on real cases, proofread legal documents, and participated in pro bono work, all of which enhanced my attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. These experiences are reflected in my teaching, as I aim to make the lessons not just informative, but also relevant and practical.
My teaching philosophy is student-centered. I want you to feel comfortable, supported, and confident in your abilities. Whether you're just starting out or looking to deepen your knowledge, my goal is to help you succeed academically and develop a true understanding of the subject.
I look forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals in law!
Best regards,
Aurora Hoxha
