My lessons are interactive, they might even have games and songs to enhance learning.
They use all types of French skills: writing, reading, listening and most of all speaking.
I see a language like building blocks, as soon as some are secure, you can start stretching and challenging. Confidence is key in languages and I always ensure my lessons are supportive as well as having the right level of extension and challenge.
I have had experience of tutoring adults and children, individuals or groups and I enjoy the variety of what tutoring brings.
