I am very flexible in my teaching style, I try to use very simple analogies, and every day scenarios to explain concepts, I go at the students pace, and take it a day at a time, but doing as much as possible to cover and meet deadlines. Ultimately ensuring the student understands the topics and can apply it with confidence.
I am a very informal teacher, as I believe people learn best when they are relaxed and not uptight. Making learning as uncomplicated as possible is my goal. Achieving a distinction is a motivating factor for me and working towards that goal with the student is something I bring my A game a hundred percent of the time and all the time!.
I believe teaching is a gift, and I love to share this gift.
Some of my student go on to teach other students due to the level of knowledge and skills they have acquired and are able to transfer these skills easily to others.
I have a feedback method, and always make my self available for further assistance outside of the working period. I am very approachable and operate an open door policy.
I want my students to have a 'can do' attitude and believe in themselves.
I have been teaching since my teens, and been a strong system of support to my peers throughout my academic years. I have been group leader, presentation leader, skills acquisitions leader, and in all maintaining teamwork and effective collaborations leading to successfull outcomes.
