My lessons will be tailored for each student I teach by assessing the best way for them to learn. I tend to go for a more hands-on format, therefore tests will be given regularly whether it be vocab words or verb tenses. To make the lessons fun and interactive, I like to make use of Quizlet/Blooket games during the lesson as well as asking the students to find a French song that they like and play it during lessons. I could even ask them to translate those lyrics as it is another interesting way to learn and I do the same with French movies and TV shows as well. I aim for my lessons to be a safe space for students to make mistakes and ask as many questions as they need to in order to understand a certain topic; I understand that people learn faster than others and so I am completely prepared to take the time to go over things as many times as needed because the students are my priority. As cliché as it may sound, there are no silly questions in my class when it comes to French because it is a difficult language to learn and I also find myself making mistakes from time to time. Lastly, I do have previous tutoring experience as I taught a GCSE student in my school for a year and they ended up getting a 7 when they were predicted a 5, so I am very confident in my abilities.
