My lessons will be tailored to the needs of the student, as that is the best way to learn. I will spend a lesson getting to know the level at which the person is, and working towards furthering that at a steady and increasing rate. Some methods may not be the same as other tutors, such as using media such as famous songs to aid the learning, and other methods, but these will create a more interactive environment for the student which helps them learn quicker. I myself am still a student so I can understand the way certain people learn differs, and I will use methods that have helped me to help my students too. I will begin with basic English, the way all foreign languages are taught, and slowly build up towards conversational English, descriptive English, professional English, and how to create emotion and emphasis. I will talk to each student to come up with realistic and aspirational language goals for each lesson, giving them the opportunity to push themselves, as it becomes easier to strive when there's a goal in mind. I will use worksheets and exercises to keep the academic rhythm and I will incorporate other methods such as projects to help them gain a wider understanding outside of lessons. I was taught English at Saint OLaves Grammar School, a very prestigious school, and being a bilingual English speaker I learned many tricks to reach a higher level of understanding of the language through my mother tongue, and I will use these tricks in my teaching.
