I provide online lessons on a weekly basis where I teach using Powerpoints which I can send to students later if they wish to use it for notes.
I provide weekly homework and use the first lesson to understand the students learning personality so I can personalise future lessons to aid them further with their education.
I have knowledge on various revision and learning techniques which differ for each student. An example of this is that a student may be a visual learner who requires diagrams and visual pictures to understand the topic whilst another student may be reading/writing learners who understands through reading through notes. for these students, I provide ready-made notes with diagrams and teach revision methods such as blurting which builds long term memory.
I split my sessions into "teaching", "exam practice" and "renewing knowledge". This means I will teach students a topic and then get some exam practice on this and next session I give short starter activities to test if they remember and understand what they learnt last lesson.
I understand that its my responsibility to help students understand new concepts and I do this by evaluating a students strengths and weaknesses so I can help improve them through every session.
I try my best to cover as much content as possible over my designated sessions and do not waste time in lessons.
I make students feel comfortable and enjoy learning with tailored sessions on desired topics. I make sure students understand topics properly before moving on.
