Hello! What I focus on is why and how an artist (in contemporary art) has created an artwork. Art is about expression and so on, connection. In my lessons I would like to show my students the ways that they can express their-selves through art and at the same time show/teach them how other artists have achieved this expression depending on the time, the political and cultural backgrounds they came from. Creating and knowing ways that you can create, can become one of the most satisfying and fulfilling feeling to any person in any age and background. How I am planning to make a student achieve this is by understanding the student's intentions behind their art practice, give them advices on how they could pass the message they want to and recommend them artists, artworks and art movements that can help them move forward with their own practice. But the most important part is to make them also understand why they want to create an artwork and generally why to choose art? I want to help them through this process of understanding and give them food for though on how to achieve what they want through art.
