Teaching Science involves innovation due to the abstract nature of some of the topics. This involves relating content to everyday life experiences to provide context. It also involves modelling in order to create visual understanding of abstract concepts. Also linking work to other topics builds a more holistic picture that enables you to gain a better understanding and context. All of these approaches help with understanding but more importantly create a greater interest in the subject and the 'lightbulb' moment in learners. Science helps explains how everyday things work.
