Hello,

I am a Software Development Engineer currently working as a consultant on key public service platforms.

I have several years teaching experience, especially with younger people but also with adult professionals who are branching out into wider career opportunities. I am a brilliant communicator and understand how to cater teaching approaches to suit your learning style.

Together we can discover which language/s will be best for you to learn. Whether you want to learn Java, Python, Ruby or JavaScript, I have experience using them all in a professional capacity. Using my own experiences of learning and the tools I have acquired along the way, I'll show you the principles and concepts of programming, in a fun and engaging environment.

My first lesson is free so you can be sure that this is the best choice for you. During this time I will assess your goals and current level of understanding, allowing me to formulate structured lesson plans that will lead you to those goals. I can also provide first hand advice on career paths and which skills you will need to achieve them.

Either online or, if local enough, in-person lessons are available. Through the use of platforms with screen sharing online lessons can be as effective as in person. This will allow for code-along exercises, real time feedback and guidance plus the ability to record sessions to watch back at another time.

Each lesson I will ensure a fun, practical and challenging coding exercise to really encourage your programming development.

I am open to any length of lesson to suit your needs. I teach after 6pm Mon-Fri & anytime at weekends.
