Hi there! I’m Ashleigh, and I am a Second Year undergraduate student studying at York St John University, doing English Literature and Film Studies.

I am looking forward to be able to build a relationship with you, through the awesome world of education! English has always been something I admire, and would eventually like to share my admiration with the next generation!

I am dedicated to make studying English at GCSE fun! I believe that in order to truly absorb learning, you have to make it fun and relaxing, therefore it becomes more memorable for you!

I also believe taking your time and pacing yourself, as rushing does not help with absorbing learning. Taking as much time as you need in order to understand something is something I advocate for a lot, as GCSE’s are especially stressful, and you need to learn a lot during this time.

Although I have no teaching experience, I feel as this would be a great opportunity to gain some as eventually I would like to become a teacher in GCSE English specifically. However, we can both learn together and navigate this journey with each other’s company!

I am open to adapt to any needs necessary, and am willing to do any additional training in order to meet these needs. I am available to tutor online, or in-person, whichever is more convenient for you! Do not hesitate to get in contact with me about any questions, availability etc.
