My lessons will focus on what works best for students on an individual level meaning using different techniques in order for students to understand content. These techniques include past papers, going through content together and going through flashcards together. Having gone through school and sixth form using every technique I have found only specific revision techniques work for different students which has allowed me to take a tailored approach to my overall teaching style. I have also been through the whole process of looking for a tutor and I have been tutored for many years and I believe having these experiences has boosted my teaching style and my acknowledgment of what each student wants. My specialist subjects include A level Psychology, Biology and GCSE Combined Science as I am extremely confident with these subjects and the content. In the past, I have taught GCSE Chemistry and Physics to relatives which significantly boosted their confidence and most importantly the grades they achieved at the end of the course. All lessons will be online however, if a student requires lessons in-person I will be more than happy to compromise and tutor in-person, but the majority of my lessons will be taught online. I fully believe my experience, knowledge and skills will equip every student with the best chance of at the very least achieving their target grades but my lessons will ensure that each and every student is given the confidence and motivation to achieve their maximum academic potential so that they can move onto reach their future academic goals.
