Lessons will be catered to your learning style. I like to take a structured approach where a student's goals are known beforehand. I aim to improve a student's confidence by actively working to embed knowledge and reinforce key foundational concepts allowing them to gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject. Active exam techniques will be taught, and revision ideas provided as well.

The first lesson typically involves me assessing a student's ability, responsiveness to different learning techniques, and the current curriculum they follow. This will enable us to decide on a student's goals they aspire to achieve with tutoring. We can then decide how to structure our sessions to best progress a student's ability.

From then on weekly lessons will integrate the learnings of previous weeks to improve the retrieval of content taught. I like to empower students so they feel confident enough to teach me the topics we will cover! My kind nature makes the mistakes of learning feel comfortable too, I’m here to support you on the journey, which is ultimately yours to make.

I also teach Group revision lessons at £20ph, please message me for more details.

Over 500 taught hours and an Enhanced DBS.

I’m a keen gap-year student. Having studied economics extensively for almost 2 years at Greenhead College (the second-best college in the Uk according to the Guardian) I now have a comprehensive and articulate understanding of the subject. I tutored first years at my college due to my high participation rate in the economics department. I have also attended advanced exam structure seminars therefore I am thoroughly familiar with the marking systems for different A-level economics exam questions and the layout of the papers. My understanding of the most efficient and productive revision techniques means I produce high grades in the subject which facilitate me to pass on my knowledge to others as well.

Asha is really professional and organised. I would recommend her to students struggling with confidence as she is very encouraging and supportive.
