Asel Attanayake

Currently I am studying for my Masters in MSc in Accounting and Finance. I was a Math Tutor at Third Space Learning for nearly a year, and I have been teaching Math from Year 1 to Year 6 including SAT classes. I love teaching in a manner where the student finds it confident learning with me and improves his or her knowledge by learning Math and Accounting with me overtime. I believe students opinions matters and therefore I accept their ideas and work on the relevant learning gaps they need in a technique which is suitable for them since I believe every child has different techniques in approaching a question. Furthermore, patience should be an essential characteristic in a tutor when dealing with students which I have. I help students improve their mind calculations as well making them understand how mind calculations are being done and the easy steps to do it. Furthermore, I teach easy was in remembering the Accounting Equation and all the key areas relating to accounting using the accounting equation. With time I believe students will improve on their knowledge on Accounting and Maths while learning with me.
