My lessons make sure the student always come first. My lessons will reflect the student's weaknesses, to ensure as much progress can be made as possible. I understand that students can find certain topics the most interesting, so I will ensure more difficult topics will be presented in a fun and engaging way. I will be presenting via video call, in order to increase availability and accessibility. Formats can vary, from the typical presentations, to past paper questions and multiple choice quizzes, so that a student can prepare for all possibilities in exams and be as ready as possible. I will try to help students understand the psychology of learning, so that pupils can benefit outside of the sessions too.
I have plenty of experience on teaching as I was a mentor at my secondary school, and also delivered presentations to local primary schools. This experience of teaching across all age groups makes me flexible as a tutor and makes me confident I can give the best teaching experience to a student. I have also taught multiple students across different age groups on how to play a musical instrument, which also shows how my teaching can vary. I have only currently completed my A-levels, so I can relate to the difficulties of a modern student, such as the strictness of mark schemes and time management for certain questions within an examination paper. I think that knowledge deserves to be spread, so that people can build the best future for themselves.
