Lessons will be taken over zoom or google meets and would generally be once a week and either for 1 hour or 2 hours depending on availability and the number of lessons the student wishes to have depending on their needs.

Prior to the lesson, the student and I would plan the lessons for that specific month and what we aim to go through such as mock revision or specific topics per lesson in order for the lessons to be as efficient as possible. At the beginning of the lesson, I go through the homework ( usually exam questions or past papers) that was given in the previous lesson and discuss any ideas further or address the improvements and possible topics of improvement which would overall improve the student's performance and give them more exposure to exam-room setting. During lessons, we look at more exam questions preferably harder ones and examiner reports to highlight the skills and knowledge needed to attain the top grades. I use exam papers to identify areas of weakness so we can then work on specific skills or topics. We can then revise topics and make revision materials. During the lesson, we could also go through a new topic or revise a previous one in order for me to check the student's prior understanding so I could further build and consolidate the knowledge that would be useful for them as it would prepare them for tackling those tricky questions in exam papers. If a new topic or concept is being covered, I ensure that my approach is steady and tailored around the student in order for them to grasp and understand the new ideas.
