I am a patient and understanding teacher, who has recently undergone A levels so I can provide academic support through both content and approach to exams. Lessons will be focused on finding topics students struggling on and ensuring that they gain the confidence to tackle any problem regarding such content alongside deeper understanding. Students can expect to have well paced lessons tailored to individual needs, however my dynamic and enthusiastic teaching style is something that is a consistent theme!

I have experience tutoring students both at the grade 8-9 level as well as students trying to gain passes in a subject. You can expect lessons to begin with content and basic competency before moving onto exam style questions and exam techniques through the use of past papers. Each lesson will focus on the needs of the individual student, weather that is gaining confidence on a certain method or simply mathematical thinking. The latter of which I can train students to a high level as I have achieved awards in both Physics and Mathematical Olympiads. Furthermore, as part of my Extended Project Qualification I have been assessed on my speaking and presenting skills for which I received an A.

Even if your child claims to not like maths and is fearful of it as many students are, I am certain that through calm structured 1-1 approaches I can aid them in combating this and perhaps cultivate a love for the subject through an awareness of the application, symmetries and patterns imbedded in maths at its core!
