I am new to personal tutoring but have a passion for teaching and helping people learn. I have had past experience tutoring and helping students who were junior to me and would love to help you achieve your educational goals :)

My lesson plans would consist of the methods which I personally used when studying: lots of testing, mind dumps, analysing exemplar questions and completing practice questions. With revision the key is to practice, practice, practice. Unfortunately this method is the most effective but I will help to make it an enjoyable and rewarding process for you. My personal favourite revision/learning technique is mind dumps as it's great to really get to grips with what you do and don't know. Also it doesn't have to be tidy or pretty (in fact its even better if it isn't) and this suits me :) I will finish every session by looking over a practice question or exemplar to really hammer home the exam technique. This is to make sure that when you step into the exam hall and are under pressure what you need to do is second nature.

As listed in my description I achieved two A*'s and one A at A level and grades ranging from 7-9 at GCSE using these techniques and so I know that they are effective. However, I also recognise that, like anything, methodology really depends on the individual and I'll make sure to take into account your input to make the most of your time.
