My name is Arthur, I'm a 28y college student, majoring advertisement. My goal as a tutor is to spread my culture and language to others around the world.
I'll always try to make the lessons fun and use music, games, movies, shows etc, to help you understand better my language.
We will start by understandin songs and movies dialogs, translating them from english to portuguese and understanding what's going on. For my gamer students, we can play something and translate things on the go while having fun and talking about what we're seeing.
Translating things from one language to another can be tricky sometimes, thats why it's important to understand before translating. Not everything can be translated directly.
I've never taught portuguese to anyone before, but I'm taking this oportunity to help people as a native speaker.
When I was learning english, i didn't have the opportunity to practice or learn from native speakers, and now, we can axchange that experience while you learn my language.
Currently I have no course plan, or any material ready to so primarily I'll be more avaiable to students looking for extra classes beyond their current portuguese classes (Duolingo included).
I'm lookin foward to be able to teach you how amazing this language is and how simple it can be, I've seen numerous foreigners becoming portuguese teachers in Brazil, so now it's my time to, as a native, spread some knowledge about my own culture and language.
