About me

Hi, I'm Arif – an experienced student tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Data Science from the University of Exeter, backed by over five years of tutoring expertise.

I specialise in teaching:
- Mathematics and Computer Science at GCSE and A-Level
- Python programming at all levels

With four A-levels in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science, I bring deep subject knowledge and advanced academic experience. I'm also highly familiar with the 9–1 GCSE grading system, which allows me to guide students strategically toward their target grades.

*****Incredible trustworthy person. Always on time, always kind. Communicates not only with a child but with parent also. Made notes from the lesson which I and my son had access to. Even if my son would be bit late to the lesson, Arif tried to catch up next time, although he didn't have to. Five stars!! *****

I have to say when my son started with Arif he was struggling with maths. He was predicted a low mark. I cannot tell you the difference Arif has made with my son to the point that my son now wants to take maths at A level. My son is due to sit his GCSE’s this summer and we have just had parents evening and been told that he should be on target for a grade 8 possibly even a 9. My son really looks forward to his sessions with Arif and really enjoys them. He has been amazing with my son and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
