Hello my name is arib and I am a history and English language/literature tutor and my lessons will typically be very straight forward for the student do understand but very detailed to ensure maximum marks in their upcoming tests. Furthermore my lessons in English literature will be more to do with analysing texts and anthology and making sure your answers structures are perfected so you get into the top band for marks. In English language we will be more looking at your vocabulary and how to again structure your answers and what grammar is needed to make sure you get full marks. We will also be looking at short texts to see how the student could improve their creative writing and if you are in secondary school how to format different types of creative writing such as a newspaper/article/speech/ letter which at first will seem very difficult but in fact is some students favourite part of English where they get to be free to write through their imagination. As well as English, in my history classes we will be going through different sources from the world war 1 and 2 and I know it sounds repetitive but we will also be fixing your structure as if your structure for your answers aren’t correct you will inevitably lose marks. There will also be small quick quizzes of key dates in history as it is very important to have that knowledge, so overall my lessons will be a fun but detailed hour which will definitely help their learning and improve them gradually but inevitably
