My name is Ariadni Michail, I am 29 years old, and I live in Greece. I am a native Greek speaker and I am excited to teach Greek as a second/foreign language. I am a fluent speaker of English, which is the intermediate language I use to teach Greek.

Since 2020, I have been teaching children and adults. I’ve worked in primary schools alongside children with learning difficulties which I enjoyed a lot. I’ve also been teaching adults online with very good results. I enjoy seeing my students getting better and being able to communicate in Greek after a few lessons. They always like to start their lesson by using as much Greek as they know to tell me about their day which is amazing.

My students have different reasons to learn the language. Some of them have a Greek family background but grew up away from Greece and want to get in touch with their roots and be able to speak the language with their grandparents. Others, have moved to Greece for work and want to be able to communicate at a proficient level.

I offer fun lessons with free material and audio recordings, and unlimited support outside classes.

I also offer speed courses (20 hours) for people who want to learn the basics or aren't sure if they want to commit to a full course.

I'm a Certified Teacher of the Greek language. I have studied Greek philology with a specialisation in linguistics. For my Master's degree, I specialised in learning difficulties (dyslexia, ADHD, dyscalculia etc).

My lessons are very interactive. I prompt my students to engage with the content instead of passively absorbing it. I use modern teaching methods such as Game-based Learning.
