I cater to different individuals’ paces and learning style to create a positive learning environment. With my experience in learning and teaching Maths being recent, my knowledge on different specifications is up to date and relevant so I am able to make the best use of my time teaching students. I have achieved exceptional GCSE grades with no grades below a 7 (A) and my Maths grade at a 9 (A**). In addition, I’m predicted two A*’s in both Maths and Further maths A Level, demonstrating my skills in the subject.

In my most recent tutoring experience, I tutored two GCSE students whose grades had improved significantly. I also taught Maths and English to a primary student with learning difficulties.

During my lessons, we begin by talking briefly through a topic before walking through example exam style questions. I conclude my lessons by allowing students to complete either exam questions or past papers independently, followed by me marking their work in my own time and providing feedback for the next lesson. I will give my tutees the opportunity to review their progress and ask me any questions or give suggestions.
