Hi there! Welcome to the Science Lab

In a lesson with me, you can expect to receive a crash course in a science topic - interested in Rocket Science? How about Volcanoes or Earthquakes? Or maybe a trip back in time for some Stone Age Science? In every lesson, we dive deep into the topic and perform fun and educational experiments and activities as we learn everything we can!

Every lesson concludes with a relevant Weekly Science Project for you to create and keep. Will we engineer a working torch from batteries and LEDs? Maybe practise our mummification skills on an apple! Or even create our own orbiting comets to better understand the force of gravity. Regardless of the topic, you'll always have a project afterwards to help cement what we learned in your mind.

If a lesson has left you eager to learn more, there are optional follow up activities and worksheets to do afterwards, including reading references and other media dedicated to the topic.

About Mr Archie:
I have just arrived in Manchester after living in London all my life, where I've been tutoring children between the ages of 3 and 11 in science for over 8 years and loving every minute of it! Science is my passion, and my favourite thing is passing that passion on to the next generation of scientists. When I lived in London, I had the privilege of leading workshops at the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, Imperial College London, Nd even the Royal Society.
