I prioritise using past papers with my tutees as it can help me break down where they are struggling in mathematics as well as giving them regular assessments on how they are doing and what grade they are looking toward at any point in time, in areas where they are struggling I work on teaching them the basics all the way to the more complex problems skipping no steps.
