Being a student myself, I understand the necessities to getting children and young adults, like myself, to engage positively in my sessions. My sessions will consist on discussion over a topic (which the student requests or which follows the curriculum they are working on) where they hopefully will be able to grasp the concept of the topic to a point where they develop the ability to apply their knowledge. After the discussion and any questions we will work through some exam style questions, this is ideal for students as it helps them come familiar with the mark scheme so they possess understanding of exam-like conditions. The questions will then be marked by participating students and myself where we can pinpoint any mistakes of misunderstandings. I will not set homework but if a student in advance requests me to set them any extra optional questions I will be more than happy to do so. I can adjust to the pace of the student so there won't be any pressure on the student.
