5th year international medical student, British national. My lessons cater to specific needs, whatever topic a student feels is holding them back will be my focus. I prefer to use a whiteboard style form of teaching as I feel it’s easiest for students to watch, learn and refer back to when attempting to perform exam style questions. I focus on understanding the fundamentals of each topic so that, when expanded on, a student has the ability to use their knowledge to work around challenging problems following a step by step checklist. My experience having been in education for 18 years as well as many hours in tuition myself has given me the opportunity to explore many different approaches to learning and find what works best for me and learn what works best for others.
