I have been playing guitar the last 12 years of my life and I am really passionate about music. I have passed ABRSM Guitar Grade 8. In addition to classical guitar skills and note playing, I can also teach chords and strumming techniques. My lessons are primarily driven by the expectations and wants of my students. During my lessons, I want my students to have fun, forget anything that is bothering them, and relax. During my first lesson, I always get to know my students, their interests and abilities better. The key to an effective lesson series is building a good relationship with my students. In my opinion, it is extremely important for my students to feel safe during our lessons where they won't be judged or criticised.
The improvement of people's quality of life is of great importance to me, particularly the improvement of children's lives. As a psychology student, my goal is to encourage children at an early age to express their thoughts and feelings. Playing instruments, fine arts, and a variety of other arts are excellent ways of achieving this. Consequently, I believe that by learning a new creative skill, children become more aware of themselves, discover abilities they hadn't realized they had, and pass some time concentrating on more innovative activities. These will help them develop a more open-minded, liberal perspective, which in my opinion is vital for becoming strong individual figures of the society.
