I like to start tutoring sessions by getting to know my students and clients well.

When I better understand the individual's goals (whether short or long-term), together with their current level of competency with the subject matter I can then begin to work with them to create a bespoke lesson plan and style that suits their needs and learning abilities.

I do not consider any questions to be foolish, and firmly believe in going at a pace that is comfortable for the learner and their requirements. I do not have an issue with repeating information or even entire lessons if there is a need. I only ask that students and clients show up on time, display interest in the topic being discussed, and are open about doubts or concerns they may have.

Lessons will be conducted online unless there is a specific need to be done in person, and I am happy to accomodate persons who are in different timezones. I only ask that we schedule lessons in advance so that I can set aside a time that suits us both. Likewise, if you have a preference for video call software, please let me know beforehand.

In short, if we are both honest, respectful, and motivated there is very little that can't be achieved within the outlined objectives.

Finally, if at any time a topic or particular subject is beyond my area of expertise or ability to offer clarification, I will let you know up front.
