I endeavour to use a range of method in all my personal, Professional Development, planning, and delivery, I have good working knowledge with interactive whiteboards. I always endeavour to include visual aids and resources, practical activities, and auditory activities. I am a strong advocate of enabling those with SEND to become independent learners and thinkers.
I build excellent working relationships and work hard to support strong relationships with those I need to work collaboratively with, be that parents, medical providers, or social care. It is vital to work with others to provide ability care. I work well with classroom support and ensure that my communication is open and transparent with clear directives given. I always give a clear insight into the intended plan of learning to enable them to fully aid in the dynamics of the classroom. I am clear and precise with schemes of work and lesson planning giving myself time to create innovative and inclusive plans.
I prepare and mark all assessments, projects, and examinations as and when necessary. This includes assessing learner work against any awarding bodies criteria. I always use SMART targets when preparing course content and learner targets in support of their ILP. I actively support the tutorial system to enhance the learning, achievement, success, and retention of all learners.
I have sound knowledge of Education methods, approaches and assessments, P-scales, and Milestones. I like to keep up to date with educational developments and find that what I learn through CPD makes more sense when I can put it into practice regularly in lessons. I attend any CPD courses to keep up to date with initiatives. My hours spent in the classroom allow me to meet teachers and other school staff, and I can offer a lot from sharing practice and ideas. The courses that I have attended have given me a range of ideas, skills, knowledge and understanding that I am looking forward to sharing with colleagues and learners. Being confident and competent in delivering classes of both a practical and theoretical nature which are graded outstanding or consistently good by observations.
