Hey there! I am Antonette, but you can call me Ant, and I am all about breaking down barriers to education—yes, really. As someone who has been on the learning journey myself (and still is—education is a lifelong marathon), I understand the importance of making education accessible and inclusive to each student. I have been fortunate to tutor college-level students in a range of subjects, including Criminological Theories, Criminal Psychology, Organised Crime, Electronic Crime, Criminal Law, Policy Analysis, Risk Management, Statistics, Research Methods, and Academic Writing. My approach isn't just about getting good grades (though we do that too!); it's about understanding the material deeply and applying it to real-world situations. Many of my students have gone on to excel in their careers and further studies, thanks to our collaborative efforts.
With regard to my education, I earned my Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree from the University of Botswana, a small, beautiful country in Southern Africa, majoring in Criminal Justice Studies and minoring in Sociology and Law. My academic background has provided me with a solid foundation in understanding the intricacies of the criminal justice system and the broader social context in which it operates.
