I am a Biology teacher and counsellor with extensive experience in empowering students to succeed academically while nurturing their passion for Biology. My personalised tuition is designed to inspire students to love Biology and achieve academic excellence confidently.

To make learning enjoyable and relevant, I use interactive lessons, engaging visuals, and real-world examples. For instance, I rely on PowerPoint slides that contain illustrations, pictures, and assessment questions to obtain immediate feedback from students. This feedback helps me to direct the rest of the lesson and future lessons. I also use questioning at the student's level to ensure a deep understanding of concepts and to develop higher-order thinking skills. In addition, I provide a virtual classroom where students can ask questions, seek clarification, and receive constructive feedback.

I use technology to create interactive quizzes and simulations that enhance understanding and retention. As the author of a Biology practical manual, I adopt a practical-oriented approach to lessons to the extent possible within the constraints of online teaching. I assign tasks to improve the retention and transfer of knowledge, some of which guide students to link the current lesson to future lessons.

I am proud of my track record of changing the grades of the top-performing Biology students in my school from C to A after taking over as their teacher. I was also one of the top 15 teachers in Ghana awarded at the 2021 Ghana Teacher Prize ceremony.
