In the 1-2 hour lessons, I aim to create a welcoming environment where students are comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification.
Years of dedicated study and practical experience along with my previous tutoring experience allows me to help gauge the right learning method for each student including visual or verbal explanations to cater to a diverse range of learning styles. I place an emphasis on the understanding of concepts rather than just memorisation through simplifying them to make them more comprehensible. I hope to support each student on their own learning path at any stage, from KS2 all the way to GCSEs.
I have always enjoyed explaning concepts to other people, along with the satisfaction of knowing that I have taught them something new. I have an enthusiastic and approachable attitude and am persistent in my effort to help students understand concepts they may be struggling with. I am a firm believer that, with the right support and attitude, one can reach their highest potential.
