I teach various forms of yoga, primarily focusing on vinyasa flows in a traditional style. During these classes, I start with meditation, breath-work, intention setting, and then move into poses. These poses are modified during the class or based on the individual, and can be beginner, intermediate, or advanced. All of my classes tend to have a theme and this links to the intention. I will use props, and sometimes invite in energy work, such as oracle cards and cleansing rituals. I also teach Hatha yoga, which is the original form of yoga dating back thousands of years. As well as this, I can teach Ashtanga-inspired classes and restorative or Yin-inspired classes. I also practice teaching Yoga Nidra, which is a form of deep meditation which can be used for physical and emotional healing, such as to lower blood pressure, reducing anxiety and stress, facilitating deep relaxation, as well as many other benefits from accessing delta brainwave states. Meditation is an important part of my classes and it is often included at the end of the class to relax students. My classes include poses for strength, balance, mobility, flexibility, as well as helping students deeply relax and feel connected to their bodies. My main aim is to assist people to shift from a thinking, and often stressed state, into a feeling state, deeply conscious of their physical body and their connection to the physical world.
