As a girl who struggled so much through secondary school and never once thought i would pass my gcses i understand how hard it can be to apply yourself and focus. However, i told myself to enjoy what i was learning and to stay engaged, and i left school with gcses. My teaching methods conclude of making the learning and work the children are doing exciting and fun to help them stay engaged and focused at all times. Learning definitely doesn't have to be difficult and feel like i chore, it can be enjoyable. I can guarantee that any child who works with me will enjoy what there doing but will also be smashing it with flying colours and having that confident mindset that they will pass. I teach that even though answers may be wrong, that doesn't mean its hard or they cant do it, a positive mindset is always the way to be especially when teaching and learning. Nothing is rushed, nothing is given without the proper teaching as i believe in helping children reach there full potential no matter the age or type of work we are doing. I am confident enough in my teaching that children will enjoy working with me and will want to engage and enjoy what they are doing with me.
