GCSEs can be super stressful because of how many things you have to remember but I am here to help you guys figure out how to study. As someone who did take their GCSEs not too long ago (I'm not that old!), I feel as though I can relate to you guys still. I did take the same style of exams as you will be taking in however many days, months or years time. I can also offer advice on keeping on top of stress and making sure you get enough down time in-between classes and revision. I take a collaborative approach in my teaching, we work as a team. I want to see you succeed and we will work together to figure out what works for you. Don't be worried if things get overwhelming, if you need to take a few steps back and go over the basics, I've got you! Do you need to take a 5 minute break? No problem! This is your education, you are completely in control of it.
Personally, I have struggled with learning myself. It can be difficult to find what learning style works for you, or maybe you are ahead of the game and already know! The first couple of lessons are likely to be based around finding what helps you learn best (i.e. mind-maps, presentations, flash cards, practical learning). After that we can make use of your school textbooks or go over topics that maybe were a little confusing in class.
