I have ample experience tutoring French and Spanish from beginners to A Level, from children to adults, focusing on reading, writing, grammar, listening and speaking. I am also familiar with the film and literature elements of A Level specifications as my degree focuses on foreign film and literature so would be able to work on this aspect of languages too, I would be happy to engineer my tutoring towards each client, depending on their needs and personalities as every student is different and would create worksheets depending on their needs.
I also have experience as a classroom teacher, teaching English as a foreign language and creating engaging material for students from ages 5-60, from levels A2-B2. I would aim to speak in the target language to ensure full immersion, and as I have lived in both France, Colombia and Spain, I also know some pretty cool slang if people are interested in learning less formal aspects of the language. I am relaxed, enthusiastic and passionate and love sharing my passion for languages!
My degree is in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) and I received a First Class honours, and was awarded a prize for achieving the best result in French in my cohort. and my A Levels are in French, Spanish and English, (AA*A* respectively) and my GCSE grades in French and Spanish were A*A*.
