I am a supportive and adaptable English as a Foreign Language Tutor. I am a native English speaker and I hold a Cambridge certified CELTA qualification. I have experience teaching English online to adults of various nationalities and language levels. Previously, I taught English to Italian High School students preparing to sit their Maturità and Cambridge English Exams as well as providing general conversation classes. I also have experience working as a Support Assistant for students with Special Educational Needs.

I offer one to one tutoring to learners of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Lesson structure and content will depend on your individual learning style and motivations for learning English. For instance, they may involve games, role play, use of images, gestures, detailed verbal explanations, verb charts and drilling, depending on what you find works best for you. Together, we will set clear goals for your progression in speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar. These will depend on whether you are preparing for any specific exams or if there are any specific skills you would like to develop. We will then continuously review your progression, making changes to our approach as needed to ensure you find our lessons as helpful and engaging as possible.

I have a first-class BA Hons degree in Italian and I understand how intimidating learning a foreign language can be. Our lessons will provide a safe environment where you can make mistakes and build confidence expressing yourself in English.
