I've previously had experience working with children within an educational setting, for example providing tutoring to a younger student with additional needs and assisting at a secondary school science club and debate team. I also have experience outside of the educational setting, for example through working with a children's activity camp and volunteering with Girlguiding. I am currently a first year medical student and received an A* in A-Level Biology and a 9 in GCSE Biology. I hope to provide fun, engaging lessons that can help support students by using interactive activities, exam questions, discussion based tasks and homework, upon request. I will also welcome any questions about the content covered in our sessions or throughout the course. I hope to create a communicative environment in which there's high productivity and a rewarding outcome. I will use a platform called Miro, which allows students to access all the previous resources and lesson notes, and is highly interactive, allowing me to assess students' understanding of the content. I have found this platform highly effective in education.
I really hope I am able to help you overcome the Biology blues!
