I plan each of my lessons individually so they are tailored to my students needs. This means I am able to quickly change the structure or content of my lesson if the student decides they want to learn about a different topic that session.
I have been privately tutoring for 5 years, with students aged 11-16 so have had plenty of experience dealing with all different age ranges and levels of education.
In my lessons I like to begin with a short recap of what was covered in the previous lesson to ensure the student has really understood what was learnt. From there we would begin to learn the topic for that week followed by practice questions to cement their understanding.
