Anna Moore

Hi there! My name is Anna and I'm a British third-year undergraduate student at Wheaton College, a Christian Iiberal arts university outside of Chicago. I am currently obtaining my BA in Political Science and gained A*A*A at A-Level in English Literature, Religious Studies and Health and Social Care. I also hold an A* in English Language and an A in English Literature at GCSE level. I am a motivated and encouraging student who loves to help others achieve their goals and make progress. Having been tutored myself, I understand the importance of positive input as you seek to grow academically. My lessons generally include lecturing, discussion, practice exercises and mock tests. However, I understand all students have different needs and styles of learning and would seek to make individualised plans for each student. I am flexible and happy to edit lesson structure or add activities that will help you learn. As a tutor, I am also careful to listen to my students, monitoring their level of understanding on the given topic and answer any questions they have as clearly as possible. In addition, if you are in sixth form and applying to study English, I am happy to assist with your personal statement/application, having received an offer to read English Literature at Edinburgh University. I also can assist with applications to American colleges.
