Currently, I am the course leader for Access to HE in the Business and Law pathway. That means that I take responsibility for the development, delivery, and evaluation of my own curriculum area. I aim to structure my course (selection of units in line with the awarding body policy) to enable my students to progress onto different degree pathways. Each year, I evaluate the content of my course, and I try to adapt it to the current environments in the business and law field.

As a teacher, I deliver well-structured, relevant, and engaging lessons using high-quality resources. This is evident throughout reports from my formal observations. In addition, I provide regular feedback to my learners. I would like to highlight that the external moderation report suggested that my feedback should be used as an example across all centers in West Midlands. This would make me suitable for this position, as I would be able to create constructive feedback when conducting learning walks or formal observations. I have up-to-date knowledge in my area of teaching.
