About me

I have experience in one-to-one maths tutoring for pupils in junior primary school and lower secondary school. I did A-levels in maths, further maths and chemistry, have a master's in materials engineering and am currently working towards my PhD. I have experience in one-to-one maths tutoring for pupils in junior primary school and lower secondary school. I did A-levels in maths, further maths and chemistry, have a master's in materials engineering and am currently working towards my PhD. I do mentoring and coaching to help students build confidence in their own abilities, as well as making technical progress. I enjoy working with students to identify ways of learning that work best for them, especially when learning complex concepts. I ask that the students bring the work they would like help with, or a starter subject to get the ball rolling, and then sessions are generally based around working through examples.
