I have been a teacher of English in Scotland for a long time now. I have also taught English as a second language and Polish as a second language.
I work full time in a secondary school, but also offer online tuition to learners after hours and during the weekends.
I work with Skype and Zoom, but can also use other platforms if required.
Teaching a language and learning a language must be enjoyable - I always enjoy having discussions, analysing various print and audio-visual media, as well as playing games and using the language in day-to-day contexts and situations with my learners.
I make sure that I prepare my lessons taking into account the interests of my learners, and make sure that they understand and enjoy what we talk about because I believe that maintaining an increased level of learner interest is crucial to making and maintaining progress.
