I begin by understanding problem areas. I begin by picking out a question in that area and seeing how far they get with their approach. I then incorporate visual and real-life examples to help them understand the concepts they struggle with. I always like ending sessions with a few questions for them to take away and do on their own time, just to ensure they have understood what we went over. If not, well, another try! I'm very patient, I believe that with any subject, time and practice is key to building both knowledge and an interest in the subject. I don't mind going over concepts n-number of times until they grasp it. Nothing is scary or impossible to learn, everything has a solution or a way of approach that'll suit an individual the best. I'm here to cater to those. I'm very open to discussion, I'm always willing to change my approach for the benefit of the student. I have tutored students who have given me positive reviews on the impact it's made in their learning process. Not only did they enjoy our sessions but they also scored better grades. Tutoring is just a way of cementing basic concepts that'll come in handy in the future too! It has to be an engaging process for the student and I will happily take on anyone willing to learn!! I had areas that I struggled with too in lower years, which is why I'll be practical at helping you improve and achieve your grades.
