I believe in creating exemplars to assist students to create their own work.
I can use many skills to enhance art which do not necessarily involve straight drawing where often students can be weak
Such as collage, papier mache, stitch, abstract, texture, range of materials etc.

Many years teaching art certificate with excellent results and providing support to weaker GCSE students saw a two grade improvement on average - every student began to enjoy what they were doing and took pride in their work when previously the lacked confidence and commitment.
As I am passionate about art, they become very engaged.

I run a papier mache business and teach small groups collage, mixed media, print, Lino, stitch, free motion embroidery and many print skills.

I have a vast knowledge of existing artists and the criteria required to get a good GCSE grade. I can provide references.

I am quite jolly, fun with a good sense of humour, I love colour and I am great at finding out what my pupils like and are happy doing. I encourage them to work to their skills. I have worked with all abilities at all levels. I can teach many skills to get excellent results without art experience.

I am happy to work online or locally.
I will give a free 20 min taster session to anyone interested.

I work from my purpose built studio in West Wittering. I have all the materials required to teach 3d, print , Lino, paint, collage and fabric art. I have a sewing machine and oil pastels, acrylics, pens, art books, neocolours, watercolours, papers, embellishments and more.

I also run adult workshops.
