Hi! I'm Anish and I'm a second year dental student at QMUL.

I offer online chemistry lessons to GCSE and A-level. Having had previous experience of tutoring from various age groups from primary school to A-level students, I've developed my teaching skills and am able to tailor my lessons to my students.

I understand how topics and questions can be difficult hence I take pride in my communication, patience and postivity!

The dynamic of my lessons starts with first pinpointing weaker areas together within the subject area. From there we will target these areas 1 by 1 until the content has been learnt and understood. The techniques involved within this procedure will include firstly me explaining the theory of the concept to help the student better understand it. Moving on from this I will double check the understanding of the concept through brief questioning of the topic. Once we are happy with the level of understanding we will move on to question walkthroughs as I strongly believe in order to understand a concept the key is practice practice practice! Question walkthroughs will involve us slowly working through the questions together and probing the student in the right direction and providing assistance when necessary. Furthermore I will set personalised questions on the topics for the student to work on in their free time to consolidate their understanding. Through this thorough procedure. I will ensure students better understand the topics and feel comfortable answering multiple different question types surrounding the topic! From there, once the student is happy and comfortable with the topic, we will then move on to the next topic the student requests and repeat this procedure. Knowing that every student is different, and not all techniques will work on everyone, I aim to effectively communicate and work with the student to discover the best methods to educate and hence tailor my lessons to each indivdual student.
