I am a primary school teacher who loves to help children learn and feel more confident.

My usual style of teaching is by beginning with an assessment of where the student is at. I then pick out areas where improvement is needed and prepare lessons based on those areas.

The lesson usually begins with a recap of the previous lesson. I then explain to the student what we will be learning in today’s lesson and how it is helping them. I adapt the lesson based on how I feel the student is responding to what I have shown. I use a mixture of presentations, worksheets and interactive resources to keep the student engaged. At the end of the lesson we do a summary of what we have learnt and I ask the child how they felt about what they have learnt.

I am passionate about what I do and I love helping children see what they have achieved.
