I have experience working with children from aged 5-17, so I am able to tailor my teaching style to the age and level that I will be working with. By approaching each lesson with enthusiasm and patience, I am able to create a comfortable environment for all my students!

With each lesson, I will organise a topic for us to cover and, depending on the level taught, will organise readings and resources for us to discuss to ensure that the student has fully engaged with the subject at hand. After critically viewing the information, I will give the student a brief writing task, such as an answer to a question regarding the topic, for them to develop their literary and essay skills. I believe it is important for the student to exercise an understanding of the subject both verbally and through written responses. This entails that confidence in the subject grows, as well as overall confidence in writing and speaking skills.

Within private tutoring sessions, I believe that the student should explore things that interest them, rather than be confined to a rigid curriculum. The format of these lessons, as well as the comfortability between student and tutor, entails that the largest takeaways from the work is a growth in confidence and love of learning. Through this, the students future academic endeavours will be charged with an energy and enthusiasm that will enhance their productivity and success.
